SAPPHIRE VALLEY SKI AREA OPENS Saturday, December 16th, *weather permitting.

The average elevation is 3,400 feet. Our resort consists of our 1600 foot main run with a vertical drop of 200 feet, complete with our state-of-the-art quad-lift, our learning center slope and our newly expanded, multiple lane, 300 foot snow tubing run. A moving carpet quickly and effortlessly transports you back to the top for multiple runs throughout each 1.75 hour session. Lift lines are typically short providing quality time for the family. Our learning center slope, with certified instructors and a moving carpet lift, will teach beginners the fundamentals of  skiing or snowboarding and students will receive personal attention in a structured environment.
