The Sapphire Valley High Ropes Course is an outdoor challenge course consisting of elevated
obstacles and elements, such as ropes, cables, steps and wooden
platforms, suspended high above the ground. This course is designed to test participants’ physical and
mental limits, promoting teamwork,
problem-solving, as well as personal growth. Participants are secured with safety harnesses and helmets while navigating the course, which includes elements like rope bridges, climbing and various obstacles.

High Ropes Course Rules
1: Safety Rules
• Listen to staff instructions.
• Wear safety gear (harness, helmet)
properly at all times.
• Stay clipped to safety line.
• Secure loose items (phones, keys) in car.
• No phones on the course.
2: Participant Requirements
• Meet weight limit of 250lb
• Arm reach of 5’6″.
• Must have closed toe shoes.
• Be in good health; no alcohol or drugs.
• Long hair needs to be secured properly.
3: On the Course
• One person per element, two per
platform.
• Middle platform can hold four.
• No running, jumping, or horseplay.
4: Weather and Emergencies
• Exit the course if staff directs you
(e.g., bad weather).
5: Respect Others
• Be courteous; let faster climbers pass
safely.
