River Walk

Recently receiving some love and care, The River Walk at Sapphire Valley is a little-known walking path that has become a nice place to stroll! Meandering about 0.8 of a mile through heavily forested areas, the River Walk follows the Horsepasture River, where native plants flourish on the valley floor. Walkers also pass by a long-abandoned construction work site from the early 2000s, where nature is slowly reclaiming the area. With a fresh bed of mulch and has zero elevation change, the river walk is pleasant for young and old alike.

Entrances to River Walk can be found at the end of the Activity Field or adjacent to the Gem Mine near the Sapphire Valley Resorts Community Center.
